Harnessing to the absolute fullest the ultimate functional properties of DCF—high waterproofness, extreme robustness, and ultra-lightweight performance—this drawstring tote bag transitions seamlessly between the severe environments of the mountains and the refined daily life of the city.

Depending on the user's lifestyle, the situation, and changing needs from moment to moment, the bag's role and expression shift beautifully like a rich gradation. Symbolizing this infinite potential and liberated versatility, this product was proudly named the "Changing Bag."

Background to the Launch: A Decade of Obsession Giving Rise to the Ideal Waterproof Gear

Even before the brand's establishment prior to 2016, our representative had been handcrafting highly waterproof DCF drawstring bags. Their exceptional functionality was well-proven after being provided to athletes in TJAR 2016—Japan’s most grueling mountain race—where they earned high acclaim in actual racing conditions.

However, for many years, we couldn’t find a factory capable of seam sealing, which is essential for mass production. Yet, we kept pursuing our ideal, and in November 2024—10 years since the project's inception—we finally found a factory with reliable DCF seam technology. This encounter allowed us to overcome the barrier to mass production and proudly begin manufacturing our waterproof drawstring tote bag.

■ Features

• Highly Durable Shoulder Straps for Easy Carrying: Featuring a 60 cm length for comfortable over-the-shoulder carrying, these straps coordinate seamlessly with our signature "LITTLEAID" feature. The 3 cm width ensures a comfortable grip, while the cross-stitched ends and interior seam sealing significantly enhance overall durability.

• Ample Capacity & High Waterproofing (Main Compartment): Measuring H31 cm × W27.5 cm with a D17 cm × 9.5 cm base, it offers generous storage. It can effortlessly hold a complete set of cold-weather gear, rainwear, or a shelter & UL bivvy setup to keep your pack organized. The interior is seam-sealed to provide high water resistance (not entirely waterproof) while reinforcing the stitched sections.

• 3-Way Pocketable Design: Features an internal pocket that allows the entire bag to self-stow for compact carrying. When the bag is in use, this pocket serves as a quick-access slot for a minimalist wallet or smartphone. Alternatively, when the drawstring is pulled tight, the pocket can be repositioned to act as a protective top flap, preventing rainwater from entering the small opening.

• Intentionally Repositioned Bottom Tag: The loop-shaped "MADE IN JAPAN" tag is strategically placed at the bottom of the bag. By gripping the tag with one hand, you can smoothly extract your gear with the other. Additionally, the loop allows you to clip a carabiner and hang the bag upside down to dry quickly when wet.

• Refined Minimalism: While we could have packed this bag with more features, we chose to leave that to our multi-functional "Tote 2G Goku" model. For the Changing Bag, we strictly focused on "simple is beautiful," prioritizing extreme weight reduction and maximum waterproof efficiency to deliver a pure, streamlined design.

• Versatile Use in Mountaineering & Outdoors: Works perfectly inside your backpack as a waterproof dry sack (fits seamlessly with our Fast Origin, NICEDAY Origin, Fast V4, and NICEDAY V2 models), or conversely, as a wet bag to isolate damp gear. It can also serve as a pillow substitute during tent nights, an active tote for quick store runs at mountain huts, a laundry bag for soiled clothes at post-hike hot springs, or a souvenir bag for the trip home.

• Seamless Integration into Daily Life: Ideal for organizing luggage during general travel and leisure, separating clean and dirty clothes at the gym or sports facilities, using as a casual eco-bag for quick shopping trips, or keeping things organized at home.

Overpacking the bag or putting too much stress on the packable pocket and shoulder straps may cause the seams to rip. Please handle it in the same manner as a regular tote bag.
