■ Introduction

As the next challenge following the masterpiece "Fast," the vision was set on developing a 20 to 25-liter UL (Ultra-Light) backpack designed for casual hiking. At its core lay a passionate ambition: to fuse the DNA of classic UL garage brands—characterized by a frameless structure without a top lid and large-capacity external pockets—with innovative Japanese ideas and technology at a high level.

To achieve an uncompromising balance of lightweight performance, cost reduction, minimalism, and multi-functionality, the developer designed the patterns completely from scratch. While minimizing the number of fabric pieces to the absolute limit, they maintained essential functionality, evolving the pack into a refined "simple is beauty" design. Poured generously into this pack are the lightweight technologies born from unconventional thinking, honed through the development of grueling racing packs from TJAR 2018 to TJAR 2024.

The pack was named "NICEDAY" with the heartfelt wish that everyone who uses it can welcome a wonderful day with a smile. Starting with the "NICEDAY V2" debuting in 2026, the shoulder harness features a "LITTLEAID®" tag—a testament to their patented innovative technology. While proudly inheriting the classic UL spirit, it continues its passionate evolution toward the future.

■ Features

• Roll-Top: Combines a 15 mm buckle closure—reminiscent of classic American UL garage brands—with a practical drawcord system. Starting with the V2, the fabric has been upgraded to a highly durable 70D ripstop nylon in all-black to easily conceal dirt.

• Grab Loop: Strategically positioned on the front side to completely prevent any uncomfortable interference with your neck.

• Front Panel: Features a resilient single-panel fabric that maintains a beautiful shape. Developed in close collaboration with the factory, it integrates a high-capacity, gusseted hard power mesh pocket into a seamless design.

• Front Right Zipper: Inspired by a custom model created at the request of TJAR competitor Mr. Uchida. The V2 features a new dual YKK water-resistant zipper (No. 5) that provides direct access to the main compartment, dramatically increasing convenience.

• Side Panels: Designed with a single-panel construction matching the front, providing massive storage that easily holds two 500 ml bottles or a 1L Nalgene bottle. Equipped with an original loop-shaped bungee cord that hooks over the bottle cap to flawlessly prevent drops.

• Shoulder Harness: Designed to comfortably fit heights from 150 cm to 175 cm. It inherits the same streamlined design and specifications as the Fast model, including the patented "LITTLEAID®" system. Total harness length is 43 cm, offering a perfect "Cinderella fit" for the best-selling Dustin Holder series.

• Chest Strap: Features a heavy-duty elastic mechanism that moves naturally with your breathing, paired with an ITW Nexus whistle buckle for emergencies.

• Back Panel: Incorporates feedback from TJAR finishers, switching to a specification where a three-folded mat (Short Sleeper Mat) can be inserted directly from the outside. This simultaneously expands internal packing capacity and allows for lightning-fast access.

• Hip Belt: Retains the detachable design of the Fast model. Includes four loops for attaching Slick Clips, allowing for seamless docking with the waist attachment.

• Main Compartment: Features an incredibly simple, tube-like structure for effortless packing and unpacking. By minimizing seams through "unconventional thinking," it delivers excellent water resistance tailored to withstand challenging climates.

• Bottom: Designed with a beautiful tapered silhouette that expands upward, shifting the load off your lower back and distributing it across your entire back. It delivers an exquisite carrying comfort that the brand stands behind with absolute confidence. Unified in black for the V2 to conceal dirt.

• Bungee Cords & Rigging: A revolutionary cord system engineered with "unconventional thinking" to pull the pack flush against your body. Meticulously positioned loops feature the "Triangle Lock-on System" for securely strapping down roll mats or trekking poles, alongside dedicated cord locks for securing ice axes.
