■ Features

• Outer Fabric: 210D ROBIC® Ripstop Nylon.

• Material Composition: Features a standard square grid ripstop combined with ultra-high-strength, high-tenacity ROBIC® nylon 6.

• Surface Treatment: DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish.

• Backside Coating: Proprietary UTS (Ultra Tear Strength) coating. Unlike traditional PU coatings, UTS increases tear strength and offers excellent hydrolysis resistance to prevent degradation under humid conditions.

• Backpack Expansion Pocket: The "Side Increase" is a dedicated add-on pocket designed to attach to your backpack's waist belt for extra storage.

• Universal Compatibility: While tailored perfectly for RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR’s "One Mile" backpack, it is also compatible with other brands' packs, provided they feature a loop (25mm or narrower) at the base of the waist belt.

• Dual-Side Attachment: Can be installed on both the left and right sides, allowing you to use a total of two pockets simultaneously.

• Ideal for Quick-Access Essentials: Perfect for stowing small, grab-and-go items on the trail, such as trail snacks or temporarily removed gloves.

• Water-Resistance Notice: While the fabric itself is waterproof, the pocket is not entirely submersible. During prolonged rain, water may penetrate through the seams and zipper tracks.

• Protecting Valuables: When storing items that must stay completely dry, please ensure they are placed inside a waterproof, resealable plastic bag before putting them in the pocket.

Features a total of three pockets: a main pocket, an internal pocket, and a mesh pocket.

Rear Securing Features: Equipped with an elastic band and hook hardware on the back panel designed to keep the waist belt webbing securely in place.

■ How to Attach to a Backpack

How to Open the Hook: To open the hook hardware attached to the side loop, apply pressure in the direction of the arrow as shown in the image above.

• Ensure Proper Routing: Paying close attention to the circled area (◯) on the back of the "Side Increase" in the image above, make sure the waist belt webbing is securely threaded through all designated points.

• Final Securing Step: To finish, clip the hook hardware onto the loop at the base of the backpack's waist belt to lock the pocket firmly in place before use.

■ Additional Ways to Use

• Standalone Pouch Mode: A dedicated loop is featured at the top of the rear panel. By attaching the clip hook from the waist belt of a RIDGE MOUNTAIN GEAR backpack to this loop, the item seamlessly transforms into a standalone waist or shoulder pouch.

• Universal Belt Compatibility: It is not limited to our own gear; it is fully compatible with detachable waist belts from other brands, allowing for versatile and customized carry options.

Please note that while the fabric itself is waterproof, the seams are not seam-sealed, meaning the product is not fully waterproof. If the surface gets dirty, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
